1. Please introduce yourself (video dating style).

I’m HuskMitNavn (RememberMyName). I’m 36, from Copenhagen, Denmark.
I like movies, long walks on the beach, holding hands and riding ponies naked.

2. What got you into graffiti? Who inspired you to start writing?

I first saw graffiti in Copenhagen around 1984-1985 and immediately became
interested. I was already drawing a lot myself. The older boys at my school used
to bomb the hallways and write on their school bags which I thought was pretty
cool, but I did not start to paint until 1993. I had to become a frustrated teenager
before I had a real reason to do it.

3. How would you describe your style?

Melancholy Walt Disney.

4. Who are some of your favorite illustrators, artists and graffiti writers?

Over the years I have been inspired by graffiti writers such as: Mode2, Delta,
Pike, Hex, Cliff159, Blade…to name a few. Now I like the style of my fellow crew
members in the Bea, Ass, Lag and Vts crews and writers such as Egs, Finsta, Sub.
Artists that I like include: Jenny Holzer, David Hockney, Keith Haring.

5. Can you tell me something about Copenhagen that most people don’t know?

Tom Waits wrote the song ‘Tom Tauberet’s Blues (waltzing Matilda) after he had
spent a night with a Danish singer called Mathilde in Copenhagen back in 1976.

6. Was the transition from graffiti writer to illustrator/fine artist an easy one?

It takes a lot of work to make a living as an artist and its important not to listen
to all the people who are telling what to do and what not to do. I have always followed
my own intuition and seen the art world as a fun challenge and not as an evil thing. I
adapted my stuff to the gallery and did not make graffiti pieces on canvases.
It made the transition a lot easier.
